Lobbying and Land Use
Jerry is an expert at navigating regulations and city politics. He understands what it takes for his clients to get through the process and achieve their land use goals. His clients include developers and property owners who require entitlements and approval for development projects. Other clients are business owners in which he assists in contract concerns, identifying opportunities and making introductions to achieve their goal.
Jerry is also a registered Lobbyist who advocates for the interests of various clients before the San Jose City Council and other city agencies. As a lobbyist he is familiar with the city's legislative process, policies, and stakeholders. He is able to communicate effectively with elected officials, staff, and the public.

Jerry successfully negotiated the approval of the Metcalf Energy Center, San Jose’s first gas power plant. He served as a consultant and lobbyist to Bechtel and Calpine during the approval and entitlement process.
